The Summer Meals Partnership of Rochester will hold its 2016 “Spring into Summer: Summer Meals Fest,” Saturday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Frontier Field, 333 N. Plymouth Ave.
According to officials, the festival will include activities for all ages, as well as information for parents and children about the city’s upcoming summer programs.
Everyone in attendance will also receive one of the free meals the Summer Meals program will serve at more than 70 city locations throughout the summer.
The Summer Meals program will offer kids and teens, ages 18 and under, free meals at recreation centers, churches, schools, and other neighborhood programs during the summer months.
The program begins after the last week in June, once the schoolyear ends.
