The Rochester-Monroe Anti-Poverty Initiative has announced it is seeking a partner to lead a two-year pilot of an adult mentoring program, called “Mentors for Success.”
According to RMAPI’s Request for Qualifications (RFQ), adult mentoring was a top recommendation from RMAPI’s workgroup findings report, and aims to help 300 families overcome barriers to finding employment, and attaining self-sufficiency in the EMMA, Beechwood, and Marketview Heights neighborhoods.
The group’s deadline to receive questions from anyone interested in applying for the RFQ is June 13, officials said, and individuals should email email@example.com to receive a response to their questions, which will be posted online by June 9 and June 16.
The deadline for agencies to submit qualifications for the RFQ, to firstname.lastname@example.org, is June 23.
According to RMAPI, the organization plans to review the submissions from June 27 to June 30, and will then select a lead agency by July 8.
An independent evaluator will review the success of the program once the pilot is completed, officials from the organization stated.
