Program organizers said they will use statistics from the National Fire Protection Agency during the workshop, to give participants a better understanding of how the young children they interact with on a daily basis understand and react to fire.
In addition, BIC said it will provide participants a “play safe! be safe!”multimedia kit free of charge, to help attendees visually understand the dangers associated with children and fire, and to bring a greater awareness of fire prevention methods and safety skills to the local community.
