Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo has announced the appointment of William Napier to assistant county executive, after having served as the county’s director of communications for the past nine months.
“I’m delighted that Bill Napier has accepted new and expanded responsibilities, and is helping manage day-to-day operations as assistant county executive,” Dinolfo stated. “Bill’s combined experience at the county, and federal level, is invaluable so, in addition to becoming assistant county executive, I’m pleased he will continue to serve residents as a legislative, and policy advisor.”
Napier had previously served as assistant county executive under former Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks’ administration, as well as in area offices for members of Congress, the county stated.
Dinolfo also announced the appointment of Brett Walsh as the county’s director of communications. Previously, Walsh had served as senior community relations coordinator in the communications department.
