Kenneth Sayres, former director of the city’s Bureau of Employment Skills, Training and Youth Services, resigned from the position March 4.
“Effective immediately, I am resigning from my position of Director of Employment Skills, Training and Youth Services, in the Department of Recreation and Youth services,” Sayres wrote in a letter of resignation to the city.
City officials have not specifically said why Sayres left the position; however, the department reportedly said it plans replace him in the role. He made upwards of $85,000 per year.
