The Rochester Genesee Regional Transportation Authority (RGRTA) seeks to obtain services from a single contractor to implement new end-to-end fare collection technologies for its subsidiary Regional Transit Service (RTS) in Monroe County to make it easier for our customers to enjoy the ride. RGRTA intends to award a single contract with the successful contractor that will accommodate separate and independent purchase orders and payments for each component of the project defined in this document.
Proposals will be received by mail or hand delivery until 3 p.m. on February 16, 2017 at the RGRTA Administration Building Reception Desk, 1372 East Main Street, Rochester, New York 14609. Proposals received after the time and date specified will not be considered. Fax requests are not accepted.
The RFP document is available by email at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Proposals must be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions of the RFP. Any firm appearing on the Comptroller General’s List of Ineligible Contractors is not eligible to participate. RGRTA is a tax-exempt Public Authority. The award of a contract is not subject to Section 103 of the NYS General Municipal Law.
The goal for DBE participation for this project is 1.71%. Proposers will be required to submit a DBE utilization plan with their proposal. In the event the 1.71% goal is not met, the Proposer is required to document their good faith efforts to meet this goal and submit them with their proposal.
