The Rochester Housing Authority, Rochester, New York, will receive sealed bids for: Post Fire Clean Out/Asbestos Abatement & Demo ( 1 Prime) Asbestos Abatement.

in connection with the Post Fire Clean Out and Project, NY 41-10 situated at 62 Merrimac Street in the City of Rochester, New York until Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 11:00 am at its Procurement Office ,675 West Main Street, Rochester, New York, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

A Walk Through has been scheduled on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 @ 10:30 a.m. at 62 Merrimac Street.

Plans and specifications may be obtained from the Procurement Office,
675 West Main Street, (rear entrance) Rochester, New York, between 8am and 4pm, beginning
Monday, April 18, 2016 for NO cost. All bid deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Bids will not be accepted unless the documents have been so obtained under the name of the bidding party and all other bid requirements, as identified here, are met. Bids must include all required documentation, bid security and addendum(s).

A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Rochester Housing Authority or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety company listed on US Treasury Circular 570, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid in excess of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000).

The Rochester Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any reason
or to waive any informalities in the bidding.

No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days subsequent to bid opening
without the express consent of the Rochester Housing Authority.
