Monroe County has announced it is currently accepting applications for subsidized daycare from eligible families through the Monroe County Department of Human Services.
According to officials, families with adults who are working, and earning an income at or below 165 percent of the poverty level, may qualify for the subsidies.
The following is a breakdown of the maximum gross family income used to determine daycare subsidy eligibility:

Potential eligible families may apply at http://www2.monroecounty.gov/hs-daycare.php, or by calling the DHS Application Line, at (585) 753-6960.
In addition, according to officials, applicants should mail completed applications to: Income Eligible Daycare Team, 111 Westfall Rd., Room 284, Rochester, NY 14620.
