The Rochester City School District has hired attorney Yolanda Asamoah-Wade as its new ombudsman and compliance officer.
According to an article in the Democrat and Chronicle, Asamoah-Wade will be the district liaison for families of students with disabilities, and for families who do not speak English.
She will also address community concerns surrounding the district’s new Code of Conduct.
Asamoah-Wade has also previously worked in the Gates Chili and Churchville-Chili school districts.
