Rochester Institute of Technology’s Center for Urban Entrepreneurship (CUE) is seeking companies that have been in business for at least one year to participate in its Capacity Building Program, which begins July 25.
Space will be limited to 10 businesses per session.
The program will assess businesses’ current structure and, along with step-by-step training from professors and local successful entrepreneurs, focus on the components identified as most important for growth.
According to RIT, CBP participants will meet twice a month for six months at the CUE offices at 40 Franklin St., to learn about elevator pitches, collaboration, cash flow, risk tolerance, task delegation, business plans, human resources for small businesses, social media marketing, accounting and bookkeeping, and business forecasting, among other topics.
The cost of the program will be $250; training materials and lunches will be included.
Interested individuals may contact Yasmin Mattox, CUE program assistant, at 585-475-6199, or email@example.com, for additional information, or to register for the workshop.
