ROC the Future, a community-wide alliance of organizations designed to improve academic achievement for Rochester’s youth, will join more than 400 community leaders from across the country for the “StriveTogether Cradle to Career Network Convening, Be the Change: Getting Results for Every Child,” the group said.
“ROC the Future is excited to have the opportunity to learn, share and network with others doing like work and facing similar challenges, and leave with concrete ideas and tools on how to move this work further and faster in our community,” ROC the Future alliance director Jackie Campbell stated. “Throughout the convening, we will not only be inspired to continue work throughout the community, but to share and learn from other partnerships throughout the country.”
The StriveTogether Cradle to Career Network conference will take place in Phoenix, Arizona, in an effort to bring together cross-sector leaders who are committed to improving educational outcomes for kids.
Attendees will also share their work to unite communities around shared goals, and measurable results in education, officials said.
StriveTogether currently represents 70 community partnerships in 32 states, and Washington, D.C.
