“We are happy to provide residents an opportunity to enjoy another visit to the zoo before this wonderful summer season draws to a close,” Dinolfo stated. “It’s been an exciting few months at the zoo, with the birth and naming of our beloved sea lion pup, Sunny, and the birth of two baby ring-tailed lemurs, as well as the daily programming and events that make any visit a great one.”
Summer programs at the zoo will continue through Monday, with hourly animal experiences, keeper chats, and demonstrations, according to the county.
In addition, the free youth with paid adult (or senior) admission will be valid during regular zoo hours from Saturday, Sept. 3, through Monday, Sept. 5; however, cannot be combined with any other offers.
The zoo is open for admission from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, and guests may stay on the grounds until 5 p.m. The zoo opens at 9:30 a.m. for zoo members.
Admission is $10 for adults, ages 12 to 62, and $9 for seniors, ages 63 and older.
