10 RCSD Employees Recognized as Educators of the Year
The Rochester City School District is proud to recognize 10 employees as 2024 Educators of the Year. The fourth annual Educator of the Year awards ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024, during a ceremony at 131 West Broad Street. The event will be broadcast on the District’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
The Office of Human Capital began this initiative in 2021 as a way to recognize excellence within the District. The initiative honors staff members who exceed expectations and provide meaningful and supportive teaching and learning experiences for RCSD students. Nominations are advanced by their peers, students, parents, community members, and supervisors. A selection committee then reviews nominees and the supporting materials provided by each candidate.
