Brothers Indicted in Irondequoit Quadruple Murder Case; One Suspect Still at Large

Julio Soriano and his brother, Louis Francisco Soriano

Irondequoit, N.Y. — A Monroe County grand jury has indicted Julio Soriano and Louis Francisco Soriano, the two brothers accused in the brutal killing of a family of four in Irondequoit, New York. The charges against the brothers include first-degree murder, burglary, kidnapping, and arson.

Julio Soriano is currently in custody at the Monroe County Jail, but his brother, Louis Francisco Soriano, remains at large. Irondequoit Police Chief confirmed that Louis is still on the run, with investigators focusing their search efforts in Puerto Rico.

The Soriano brothers are accused of killing Fraime Ubaldo, Marangely Moreno Santiago, and their two young children, Sebastian and Evangeline. The victims were found in their home on Knapp Avenue, where they had been brutally stabbed to death in the basement. The house was later set on fire in an apparent attempt to cover up the crime. The bodies were discovered in August, sending shockwaves through the community.

The tragic murders left neighbors and local authorities reeling, and investigators quickly honed in on the Soriano brothers as the primary suspects. The connection between the victims and the suspects has not yet been fully detailed by authorities, though law enforcement officials continue to gather evidence as part of the investigation.

As the manhunt for Louis Soriano continues, local law enforcement and federal authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information on his whereabouts. The case has drawn national attention as residents of the tight-knit Irondequoit community mourn the loss of the Ubaldo-Moreno Santiago family.

Julio Soriano is expected to appear in court in the coming days as the legal proceedings move forward. If convicted, both brothers face life in prison without the possibility of parole.
