Community Garage Sales and Super Fleas Series at the City of Rochester Public Market Kicks Off Sunday, April 13

2025 Admission-Free Market Event Season Begins

The City of Rochester Public Market kicks off its iconic Community Garage Sales and Super Fleas event series, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sunday, April 13, at 280 N. Union St. Bargain shoppers, “buy used” movement members, collectors, “vintage” enthusiasts, and all other attendees will find dozens of vendors selling a huge array of items. These items include new and used clothing, tools, toys, home décor, sporting goods, vintage collectibles, artwork, antiques, and much more.

Community Garage Sale vendors include individuals and families, community organizations raising funds for projects and programs, and a variety of small businesses. In addition, dining and shopping establishments are open throughout the Market District during Community Garage Sales and Super Fleas.

Look forward to Community Garage Sales and Super Fleas Sundays throughout Spring, Summer and Fall (all 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.), including:

  • April 13 and 27

  • June 8 and 22

  • July 6 and 20

  • Aug. 3, 17, and 31

  • Sept. 14 and 28

  • Oct. 12

Garage Sales and Super Fleas are held rain or shine, and admission is free. Most items for sale will be under cover in the outdoor market sheds. The series is not held in May, when the Flower City Days horticultural sales take place.

Community Garage Sale vending spaces are just $35 per day for each 10’ x 30’ stall, which includes a parking space. Vendors can also purchase a package of six Community Garage Sale Sundays for a discounted rate of $160. To learn more and download the vendor application, visit www.cityofrochester.gov/garagesales, or stop into the Market Office, 280 N. This first Community Garage Sale kicks off the 2025 slate of more over three dozen free-admission events at the Market across all seasons of the year. See the full schedule at www.cityofrochester.gov/marketevents.
