Everclear and Shamaar Allen Take the Stage at the Final 2024 Party in the Park Concert Thursday



Everclear and Shamarr Allen will perform at the final Party in the Park concert of the year, 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 15 at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park, 353 Court St. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

 

Party in the Park now features Pre-Parties to get the party started earlier, thanks to partnerships with local businesses offering live music and drink specials at nearby venues on East Avenue and Marshall Street.

 

General admission tickets for Party in the Park are $7 (children 12 and under are free). VIP Ultra Lounge tickets, which include admission, are $35 (while supplies last) but must be purchased in advance. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at RochesterEvents.com or in-person at the Auditorium Theater, 885 E. Main St.

 

The Party in the Park VIP Ultra Lounge provides exclusive access to a VIP area with private restrooms, a full cash bar, table service, front stage access, chair massage, and a commemorative lanyard.

 

Craft beer lovers can enjoy the Beer Garden featuring a rotating showcase of New York State’s best IPAs, ciders, stouts, and more. The Bubbly Bar will has prosecco and mimosas. There will be happy hour specials at each show from 6–7:30 p.m.

 

Bazaar in the Park is a collective of emerging designers, vintage collectors, and artisanal products, creating a community around art, crafts, fashion and discovery.

 

Patrons may bring one sealed bottle of water into the Party in the Park concerts. Lawn chairs, bicycles, skateboards, in-line skates, and pets are prohibited.

 

Parking is available at nearby parking garages including the Washington Square Garage, 111 Woodbury Blvd., the Court Street Garage, 194 Court St., the East End Garage, 475 E. Main St., and The Strong Museum, 1 Manhattan Square.

 

Party in the Park Pre-Parties:

 

East Ave. between Union and Alexander: 4–6 p.m. LIVE BEFORE FIVE presented by Canandaigua National Bank! Live music and drink specials at the following locations: Aqua Vitae, Axes & Ales, Filgers, Fools Gold, Murphy’s Law, Recreo, Studio Lounge, Veneto.

 

Strangebird Brewery, 62 Marshall St.: Every Monday & Thursday during the Party in the Park series. Mondays: Happy Hour from 5–7 p.m. with a chance to win VIP tickets for the show that week. Thursdays: Get ready for the show while enjoying beer, cocktail specials, food, music, yard games, and weekly themed activities. Municipal parking available on the far end of Marshall Street.

 

Party in the Park is a City of Rochester event produced by Rochester Events | Springut Group Inc., and sponsored by Labatt USA, Genesee Beer, United Business Systems, Wilkins RV, Tiny Fish Printing, Brandmint, Pepsi and Go Minis.
