Former Deputy Town Supervisor Michelle Marini Indicted

Michelle Marini, a former Deputy Town Supervisor for the Town of Greece, has been indicted by the Monroe County Grand Jury. The unsealed indictment includes charges of Corrupting the Government in the 3rd Degree, three counts of Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree, and Official Misconduct.

The Monroe County District Attorney's Office revealed charges against Marini are related to her involvement in the development and construction of the Greece Community and Senior Center, now known as The Center at Greece Town Hall. Additionally, there are allegations concerning her conduct while serving in her position with the Town of Greece, including the unlawful GPS tracking of a resident. Marini held the position of Deputy Town Supervisor from 2014 until December 2023, when she assumed the role of Director of Constituent Services, which she currently holds, according to reports.

The Monroe County District Attorney's Office noted that the incidents occurred between March 29, 2022, and March 25, 2024. Assistant District Attorney Gregory Clark, Chief of the Public Integrity/Economic Crimes Bureau, and Assistant District Attorney Christopher Folk are prosecuting the case.

Authorities confirmed the investigation is ongoing, and Marini's arraignment is scheduled for July 2, 2024, before Judge Meredith Vacca at 9:30 am.
