Scheduled for Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM EDT, this online meeting aims to gather insights from diverse stakeholders to shape a forward-thinking Regional Freight Plan.

The updated plan will address the evolving landscape of freight transportation, including the growth of e-commerce, changes in infrastructure funding, and the emergence of new manufacturing facilities. It will serve as a roadmap for the next 25 years, balancing economic growth with environmental stewardship and community well-being.

  • Unveiling the region's critical freight assets and their untapped potential

  • Addressing current freight challenges and anticipating future needs

  • Exploring innovative strategies to enhance regional competitiveness and assist in obtaining state and federal grant investment opportunities

  • Integrating sustainability and smart technology into freight operations
