ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Goodwill of the Finger Lakes will relocate its Greece thrift store from 3654 Dewey Ave. to The Mall at Greece Ridge on Feb. 28. The new store, located at 140 Greece Ridge Center Drive in the former Ruby-Gordon retail space, will open at 9 a.m. following a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The first 100 shoppers will receive $10 gift cards.

The move to the larger location offers expanded retail space, convenient donation drop-offs, and improved access to public transportation and highways, according to Goodwill President & CEO Jennifer Lake.

“Our new store will allow us to better serve our shoppers with more inventory, easier access, and an enhanced shopping experience,” Lake said.

The store will begin accepting donations at its new location on Feb. 5 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily until the grand opening. Larger donations, including home furnishings, can be dropped off at a dedicated garage entrance in the rear of the building.

“We are excited to welcome Goodwill to The Mall at Greece Ridge,” said mall General Manager Jay Wilmot. “Their commitment to the community aligns with our mission and adds to our retail offerings.”

Goodwill’s new store will be open Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Proceeds support community programs, including Goodwill Vision Enterprises, 211/LIFE LINE/988, and workforce development initiatives.
