IGT Donates Advanced Technology to Mission Fulfilled to Support STEM Education in Rochester

Leadership from International Game Technology (IGT) and Mission Fulfilled 2030 of Rochester gathered on October 23, 2024, to celebrate IGT’s donation of advanced technology as part of its global After School Advantage program. The contribution includes a range of technology and equipment that will significantly enhance the organization’s Youth Tech Entrepreneurs Program, which equips local students with the tools and skills to promote their educational journey.

 

Mission Fulfilled 2023 provides access to high-quality education, fosters innovation, and inspires the next generation of leaders as part of their commitment to empowering underserved communities. Through hands-on training in coding, STEM, and entrepreneurship, the Youth Tech Entrepreneurs Program encourages creativity and critical thinking while promoting teamwork among youth from diverse backgrounds.

 

Graduates of the Youth Tech Entrepreneurs Program have gone on to launch successful startups, pursue higher education in STEM fields, and become leaders in their communities.

The donation of technology equipment includes Lenovo gaming desktops, Acer Chromebooks, and smart TVs.

IGT’s donation will empower Rochester students to pursue new skills and seize opportunities through Mission Fulfilled 2030’s comprehensive programs.”

 

As part of IGT’s Sustainable Play™ initiatives, After School Advantage is the company’s flagship community program, devoted to providing youth with access to technology at digital learning centers in communities where IGT operates. IGT is a global leader in the lottery and gaming industry and has promoted the advancement of tech literacy and STEAM opportunities by providing young people access to technology since the After School Advantage program was founded in 1999.
