Rochester Business Journal and the Rochester Chapter of Financial Executives International have selected Leida Martinez-Santini, Vice President of Finance, YWCA of Rochester and Monroe County as a Financial Leaders 2024 honoree in the lifetime achievement category.

"Leida has dedicated her career to fostering and maintaining the financial integrity of our organization. Through her tireless efforts, she has built a strong finance department and is well respected among her peers and our community stakeholders," said Dr. Myra Henry, President and CEO of YWCA of Rochester and Monroe County. "We are delighted that Leida's commitment to our community and organization is being recognized with this lifetime

achievement award."

The Financial Leaders Awards acknowledge exceptional financial professionals who've made outstanding contributions to their organizations and the Greater Rochester community. Nominees are evaluated based on their professional accomplishments, civic commitment to the Rochester community, and their organization's economic growth and stability. Honorees were chosen by a panel of judges including past honorees, educators, and

representatives from the Rochester Chapter of Financial Executives International and the Rochester Business Journal’s editorial team.

Leida's key responsibility as Vice President of Finance is to pursue YWCA of Rochester and Monroe County's economic growth while ensuring the financial integrity of the agency for its clients and community. Throughout Leida’s 38-year career, YWCA of Rochester and Monroe County’s leadership provided the opportunity for professional growth and a personal commitment to improve the wellbeing and health of the local community.

“I am honored and humbled to receive this recognition. I am grateful to my family members, YWCA of Rochester and Monroe County family, and God for providing me the wisdom to achieve this honor,” said Leida.

Leida will be celebrated along with other honorees at a luncheon on June 25 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center, 123 East Main Street in Rochester.
