Local Attorney, Craig Carson Celebrates 10 Years of Impact in Rochester with Community
A home-grown legal eagle is inviting the Rochester community to join with him in celebrating 10 years of providing expertise and legal service to black and brown working-class individuals.
Local attorney Craig Carson plans to host a community event on Saturday, June 17 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Arnett Public Library, 310 Arnett Blvd., Rochester, NY 14619.
Carson, proprietor of the Law Office of Craig Carson, was introduced to a career in law while taking part in the Law Explorers Program during his membership in the local Boy Scouts mentorship program as a youth.
According to Carson, this 10 year celebration event “is a testament to [his] faith, hope and heart for the community.”
In addition to practicing law, Carson has also contributed work towards the Community Justice Initiative, an organization that provides meals for low-income individuals, hosts community programs, Black empowerment programs, and Black business marketplaces.
In a profession where services are often quite expensive for many people to access when needed, Carson says he offers more affordable flat rates, and provides clients with a high-level of skill and passion.
As a proponent for seeking justice, Carson states that he “prides himself on not just being a lawyer but an advocate who really cares about seeing his clients win in a system that many believe have failed them.”
This event is for the people and will serve free food to all who attend.
