RG&E Hosting Free Preparedness Training Program, to Help Citizens Prepare for Any Disaster
Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) is working with Homeland Security and Emergency Services Citizen Preparedness Corps and The Mission Hope to host a free New York Citizen Preparedness Training Program. The event will take place on Tuesday, November 19 at RG&E’s 3 City Center building in downtown Rochester.
The training program will provide residents with the tools and resources to prepare for any type of
disaster, and to respond and recover as quickly as possible. The course will help participants prepare
for emergencies, including developing a family emergency plan and stocking up on supplies. Each
family or participant will receive a preparedness kit after the training.
