RG&E to Have Customer Service Presence at City’s Final ROC the Block Event at Parcel 5



ROCHESTER, N.Y. — September 24, 2024 — Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) will have customer service representatives at Parcel 5 for the City of Rochester’s final ROC the Block event on September 25. The event is a community-based hiring initiative that will bring businesses and recruiters to the city’s four quadrants. The events are part of a series that takes place on one Wednesday a month throughout the summer and fall.


RG&E will have customer service representatives and advocates available at the events to connect directly with customers, offering resources and addressing account needs. The Company will also have representatives from Human Resources to talk about employment opportunities, including temporary utility workers, analysts, engineers, and more.

These events are part of RG&E’s continued efforts to connect with its customers. RG&E remains committed to the communities it serves and will continue to have a direct presence in the community, working with local organizations to provide access to its programs and assistance for customers.
