RG&E to Have Customer Service Presence Throughout the Summer at Rochester Public Market

Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) will have a presence at the Rochester Public Market on Saturdays throughout the summer. Customer service representatives will be available on the first Saturday of each month beginning June 1. The Community Connection events are designed to provide a ‘one stop shop’ for customers to have their account needs addressed. Customers will have more opportunities to connect directly with customer service representatives and advocates. The event will offer resources and services to benefit the community, and customers will have opportunities to ask questions.

“This is an initiative we started last summer as we worked to increase our presence in the community,”

said Vice President of Customer Service for RG&E, Christine Alexander. “Those events were very

successful. We look forward to engaging with our customers again this year.”

“Meeting face to face in a familiar and comfortable environment is often the best way to build

understanding,” said Rochester Mayor Malik D. Evans. “I welcome RG&E’s Community Connection

initiative at the City of Rochester Public Market, and I encourage city residents to attend these helpful

outreach events.”

All events will take place one Saturday out of each month, starting June 1 through September at the

Rochester Public Market located at 280 N. Union Street.

Details of upcoming events are below:

• June 1 – 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• July 6 – 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• August 10 – 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• September 7 – 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

These events are part of RG&E’s continued efforts to connect with our customers. RG&E remains

committed to the communities it serves. The Company will continue to have a direct presence in the

community, working with local organizations to provide access to its programs and assistance for

customers.
