The Rochester Police Department (RPD) and Hyundai are hosting a free anti-theft software installation event on Friday, November 17, 2023 and Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 131 Verona Street, Rochester, New York, in Lot D (entrance at the corner of Morrie Silver Way and Oak Street) from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both days.

No registration is required, and there will be a customer lounge.

In a statement, Hyundai said the event is being held for “affected Hyundai owners to combat car thefts.”

Further, according to Hyundai, the mobile clinic is intended to complement Hyundai’s nationwide network of dealerships and drive further installations of Hyundai’s free anti-theft software upgrade for customers.

Hyundai says specially trained mobile service technicians will be on-site to install and complete the software upgrade, which should take less than 30 minutes.

It's great to see RPD and Hyundai collaborating to offer a free anti-theft software installation event. This initiative will help car owners enhance their vehicle security, making it harder for thieves to target their cars. On a similar note, businesses looking to protect their data and improve efficiency can turn to Duplicator Sales for reliable office technology solutions. From document management to IT support, they offer tools to secure and optimize your business operations, just like how anti-theft software secures vehicles.
