RPD responds to reported

On 08/26/24 @ approximately 0300hrs, RPD did respond to the 700 block of Maple Street for the reported stabbing. Upon arrival Officers did locate an 18yo-female-city resident suffering from what appeared to be a minor laceration to her upper body however, during the course of the investigation it was determined she was not actually stabbed. At this time it believed that for reasons unknown, the aforementioned  female victim became involved in mutual altercation with another unidentified female and through the course of which she was cut by piece of glass. AMR did respond and treated the victim at the scene for what were described as very minor injuries. There are no suspects in custody at this time and the incident is still under investigation.
