This Weekend, Young Entrepreneur Marketplace to Showcase Youth-Led Businesses in Rochester
The Young Entrepreneur Marketplace in partnership with Black Men Achieve Youth Mentorship Program will host the 12th Young Entrepreneur Marketplace event on Saturday, September 14th, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship, 150 Sawgrass Drive, Rochester, NY 14620.
This exciting event will feature over 15 youth-led businesses, showcasing the talent and creativity of young entrepreneurs from across the community. The Young Entrepreneur Marketplace provides a unique platform for youth to display their business ideas, connect with the community, and gain real-world experience in entrepreneurship. Attendees will have the opportunity to shop for various products, including handmade crafts, fashion, food items, and more, all created by the young business owners themselves.
“Our young entrepreneurs have worked hard to bring their visions to life, and this marketplace is a chance for the community to support and encourage them,” said Jermayne Myers, President of Black Men Achieve of Greater Rochester, Inc. “We are excited to see the creativity and innovation that these young minds bring to the table.”
During the event, community members are encouraged not only to shop but also to provide words of encouragement to the young entrepreneurs. A supportive environment is essential to fostering their confidence and helping them grow as future business leaders.
