Dare to scare or be scared — and share in some family fun — at the annual Halloween at the Market, presented by Fidelis Care, from 4: 30 to 7 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 29, at the City of Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union St.

This favorite Halloween tradition offers a fun alternative to traditional trick-or-treating and provides an extra opportunity for children to show off their costumes while enjoying the excitement of the season with their family and friends. Halloween at the Market features trick-or-treating, theater and musical performances, arts and crafts, hayrides throughout the market, interactive games, photo booths and much more.

Food and drink vendors will be onsite, as well.

Attendees can also connect with nonprofits, businesses and other organizations that serve families and children, who will share in the interactive, festive occasion. Attendees are encouraged to wear a Halloween costume to this free, family friendly, rain-or-shine event.
