Local artists, designers, jewelers, crafters and other merchants of distinctive goods are encouraged to register for the annual Holidays at the Market special event series at the City of Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union St.

Four Holidays at the Market events will be held this year:

·         Sunday, December 1, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

·         Sunday, December 8, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

·         Sunday, December 15, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

·         Special Thursday Evening Event, December 19, 6 to 9 p.m.

One of Rochester’s favorite holiday shopping traditions for more than a generation, Holidays at the Market offers owners of business startups, home- and studio-based microenterprises, and boutique retail stores an ideal, low-cost opportunity to reach thousands of motivated shoppers eager to find unique holiday gifts with local appeal.

The event series features dozens of vendors offering holiday-themed products, including fresh-cut trees and wreaths, specialty foods and beverages, clothing, jewelry, handcrafted goods and other unique items. Holidays at the Market also features visits from Santa and horse-drawn carriage rides from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays.

Vendor spaces for Holidays at the Market are available for all four event dates. Rates per stall (10’ x 30’) are $60.00 per Sunday; $155.00 for all 3 Sundays; $25.00 for the Thursday evening event; or $175.00 for all three Sundays and Thursday. Interested vendors are encouraged to apply early for reservations, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis and fill quickly.

Applications are available at www.cityofrochester.gov/holidaysatmarket, or in person at the Public Market Office during regular Market hours (Tuesday and Thursday, 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Saturday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.).
