A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Beatriz Lebron, the Vice President of the Rochester City School District Board of Education. Lebron is facing a harassment charge following an incident that occurred during a Monroe County Legislature meeting earlier this year. Lebron, who is also the executive director of the Father Tracy Advocacy Center, turned herself into the police after receiving a call from her attorney.

Taking to social media, Lebron demanded that the evidence be presented and expressed her determination to fight the case. In a Facebook Live video, she proclaimed her innocence and stated that she would not be taking any pleas.

The incident in question took place during a public hearing at the Monroe County Legislature meeting on April 9. Lebron had used her time to defend the services provided by her non-profit organization, Father Tracy Center, and criticized certain county legislators for their lack of support and dissemination of misinformation.

However, things escalated when Lebron was caught on camera pointing her finger at someone after leaving the podium. Supporters of Mercedes Vasquez-Simmons, a Monroe County Legislator, claim that Lebron threatened her by saying, "I will break your face." Vasquez-Simmons filed a complaint, which led to the investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

Lebron maintains her innocence and says she is eagerly awaiting her day in court to refute the allegations and present evidence in her defense. She is scheduled to appear in Rochester City Court on July 25.
